Hi, I’m 21 Leicester! People often don’t know how to pronounce my full name, but to be honest that’s ok with me. I’m not really formal or fancy and a nickname suits me just fine. You can call me Les!

Consider me your happy place. Where your best memories are made, and where you always have a safe place to call home.

My owners and I have been through a lot in our 50 years together. I’ve grown as my family has needed me to, with a gorgeous back addition to make room for everything to fit on one level, and I’ve watched my garden grow from seedlings to the lush perennials and colourful blossoms you see today. But the memories are what I’ll cherish most.

From new babies to backyard weddings, the best childhoods filled with running through the neighbourhood pathways to the school playgrounds…I even remember the day the neighbours all came to admire my new cedar shingled exterior, it was the first of its kind in the area and is what continues to provide the curb appeal that’s made me stand out after all these years.

The main floor is so much larger than it looks from the outside. The den addition at the back overlooks the gorgeous property and oversized deck, and gets the most amazing all day natural light. And you’ll be so surprised by the principle bedroom too, it’s almost twice the size of similar homes nearby and has two walk-in closets. I don’t get out much but everyone who comes to visit says that’s a really desirable feature.

And downstairs has the coziest propane fireplace with custom built-in library, and even a 3rd full bedroom guest suite with its own full bath with jacuzzi tub.

Outside the traffic is so minimal and the location provides a childhood experience just like my owners had, with the wading pool and park just up the street and walking distance to several great schools, and there’s even a skateboard park, baseball diamond and soccer field just at the top of the hill.

A skip to the highway, hospital, universities, and just 5 mins from either downtown or up. I’m told there’s even an awesome new ramen restaurant just a skip away.

With my rich history and so many chapters left unwritten, you could say I’m just like out of a storybook! After 50 years it’s time for a new family to assume my stewardship. And although goodbyes are so hard, I have so much more love to give.
