How life, and your Realtor®, have a way of showing you the right door.

Not to get too philosophical on you, but lately I’ve been witnessing (and experiencing for myself, too!) just how important it is to be open to new opportunities.

A little over 2 and a half years ago I’d said “no” to the opportunity of working in Real Estate for the last time, and jumped into my dream career with both feet.

Two months ago my clients felt their forever home slip through their fingers after a not-so-great inspection, only to find a MUCH better option the following week, with a much cleaner bill of health….and for 20k less.

And recently a client of mine had a change of heart, and the day we sold their home was even more exciting than the day they bought it.

It’s ok to change your mind.

And it’s ok when things don’t go your way. I have to remind myself of this often, too. I’ve never been the one to let go of something without fighting for it.

But I wanted to share this to remind myself, and maybe you too…

For all of you who’ve been feeling tired and pushed to your limits. Wondering if you’re making good decisions.

And for anyone who’s finding themselves looking back. Or trying to force an outcome that’s just not happening.

Not taking action is a decision, too. Sometimes staying in place is the right path and that’s ok.

There’s always a better opportunity around the corner.

There’s no way to control the perfect timing.

And you’re not too late. The right door is always waiting for you, without a timeline or agenda.

I find so much comfort knowing that. I needed this reminder today, and I thought there might be someone – maybe you – who needed it too.
